Rise and Shine. A Pennsylvania groundhog named Colonel Custard is making waves for more than just weather predictions. Two weeks ago, at The Meadows frozen custard shop in Hollidaysburg, customers were shocked to find the furry critter inside an arcade claw machine, nestled among the stuffed animal prizes.

Now a local celebrity, Colonel Custard has inspired T-shirts with the slogan "Respect the Groundhog" and even an online naming campaign. The shop’s owners are planning to name a frozen treat after him, capitalizing on the unexpected visitor’s newfound fame.

Meadows manager Lynn Castle said no one knows how the groundhog got into the machine, but it’s believed he climbed up through the chute. Despite the mystery, Colonel Custard has quickly become the talk of the town.

OpenAI has shut down an Iranian-linked influence operation that was using ChatGPT to generate content about the U.S. presidential election, the company announced on Friday in a blog post

The operation, identified as Storm-2035 by Microsoft’s Threat Intelligence, was found to be creating AI-generated articles and social media posts aimed at polarizing U.S. voter groups.
